LEYS INSTITUTE.
The winter course at the Leys Institute will be opened by the Orphans' Club on Tuesday, May 11. The lectures comprise: "Radium and X Rays," by Dr. Neil McDougall; "Magic Through tie Ages," by Mr. P. R Oakley; "Songs of Scotland," by the Rev. J. W. Shaw, M.A.; "Maori Legends," by Dr. Buck; "Perfumes and the Sense of Snell," by Professor Worley. The Auckland Ccmed.'t Players, under Mr. J. E. Montague'.* direction, will give an entertainment, and Mr. and Mrs. Towsey tho closing concert.
