NORTH SHORE YACHT CLUB. The yachting season, in Auckland will be brouffht to a close this afternoon. whets a race for the 14-foot one-design class will take place, under the auspices of the North Shore Yacht Club. Meteor, Betty, Desert Goid and Omalii have entered for a prize donated by Mr. Chas. W. Sundstrum, of Duneom. The race will start at 9.45 p.m. over two rounds of the 3j-kot course. A sweepstakerace for all-comers, 16ft and under, will a'so lie hold, suiting at 3 p.m. Entries lor this race will be revived rip to C 15 p.m., and the handicaps dscUrcd before the- start Ihe course will be the same ar- the oue-des.gn class.
