CARRIAGE OF HAILS.
DAILY WAIKATO SERVICE. Arrangements for a daily mail service to Hamilton, leaving Auckland in the evening, were made yesterday by the Postal Department. When the steamer Arahura takes up the running between Onehunga and Wellington it will be possible to supplement the tn-weekly service to Onehunga,. which will be supplied by the Rarawa. The advice of the Department to the public is to post all mail matter as usual. The mails will be forwarded to all destination as opportunity offers, although firi-t-claes mail matter only will be forwarded by the. emergency land eervioess
