C HRIBTCHTJRCH, Thursday. At the annual meeting of the Canterbury Drivers Lnion the following resolution was carried unanimously " That this union endorse the claims of the rail way societies for equitable terms in the matter of wages and working conditions. It deplores the procrastination of the Government which has led to the present i nsis, and calls upon the Prime Minister to immediately take such steps as will induce the men to resume work, and thus prevent the trouble developing into what promises to be the,most serious strike in ihfc history of the Dominion."
