STRIKE BALLOT TO-DAY.
SYMPATHY WITH COMRADES. A ballot -will be held to-day bv the members of the Auckland branch of the Railway Officers' Institute to "decide whether they should strike in sympathy with the two other railway unions. The resolution was the outcome of two lengthy meetings of the branch yesterday. A eminent member of the institute expressed the opinion last evening that" there 'would b&a large majority in favour of a strike, as they were strongly in support of the present strikers, and did not S* be regarded as "blacklegs." in : Z.
