Mr. Justice Ewing has accepted a commission from the State Government- to inquire into the case of the twelve members of the Industrial Workers of the World who are now held as prisoners. The Government is introducing a Bill in the House of Representatives providing for representation of the Northern Territory in the Federal Parliament and an elective council in Papua, which is not given representation in Parliament.
