RED CROSS NURSES SHOT. A. and N.Z LONDON. April 27. The Dai';- - Chronicle publishes an amazing letter from Corporal Max Zeller, who was fighting in the Ruhr Valley, addressed '•> a nursing sister in a. Reichs•Achr hospital- Describing the first fight with the " Reds." Zeller said that no quarter -'as given to the wounded, who ere ,-ho!. The enthusiasm was immense. Only tun of his battalion were killed, v-hile 300 "Reds" were killed or wounded, OPII4 finished off with butts or bullets. " VYf- shot 10 Red Cross sisters who were carrying revolver?," lie wrote. " They vainly cried lor mercy, but it was a pleasure to shoot the huskies. Anyone carrying weapon? is killed."
