PRINCE ON A MERRY-GO-ROUND.
AN INTERLUDE AT ROTORUA
[by telegraphSPEClAL reporter.]
ROTORUA. Wednesday
The Prince rode on a merry-go-round for the first time in his life last evening. This amusement is located on a vacant section opposite the Grand Hotel, where he is staying, and before dinner he passed out, practically unobserved, through a back gate with three of h ; staff. The machine was without any customers at the time. Hi Royal Highness mounted one of the horses and, paying his sixpence, gaily twirled while the* organ ground out some homely tunes. He returned to the hotel through the back gate and was hardly noticed by the few people in the neighbourhood.
