Inquiries made go to shbw that if the usual business depended on the cigarette trade alone many would undoubtedly have had to put the shutters up. The main sale of cigarettes is confined to a few lines. "The position to-day." said the representative of a large wholesale house, "is that we have not a single cigarette in the warehouse.
