ROWING.
THE OLYMPIC GAMES, A meeting of rowing enthusiasts will be held in the Sports Club rooms to-morrow evening tc discuss the question of raising funds for the purpose of sending D. C. Hadfield to Antwerp to compete in the Oylmpic games. TRIAL FOURS COMPETITION. The North Shore, West End, and Waitemata Rowing Chios will each hold trial fours on Saturday arternoon. . JNort-h Shore will row for trophies presented by Messrs. Harrington, Ltd. The West Ilnd Club will compete for the Kohn Shield, for which twelve crews are in training. A special feature will be the veterans' race© The members of the Waitemata Club will compete for prizes presented by Mrs. Beid and Air. G. Ellerbeck. The final "At Home" of the St. George's Rowing Club will bo held nest Saturday, when trial fours, for trophies presented by Mr. C. Kelson Mitchell, will be rowed. The following crews have been selected: —Anner, Scott, Johnston, Lamb: Emery. " Moresby-, Anslee, Ellis; Cozens, Blcnnerhassett, Harland, Clapharn; O'Loghlen, Penny, Gilmour, Ray Surman„ T. Goulding, Bees, Wright; A. M. Goulding, O'Grorman, Bews, Thompson. The first event will start at 2.30 p.m.
