AUSTRALIAN FREIGHTS.
NO REDUCTION IN t SIGHT. A. and N.Z. LONDON, March 24. The Australian Press Association learns that a reduction in the price of coal is not likely to cause a corresponding reduction in Australian freights. Shipowners point out that when the present . freights were fixed in February, 1919, bunker coal cost about 40s a ton. The present reduction is largely due to the representations of shipowners, who are not yet satisfied, and are pressing for a further reduction
