BRITISH WAR MEDALS.
THE QUESTION OF CLASPS. Press Association. LONDON, March 24. Mr. Winston,, Churchill, Secretary of State for War, stated in' the House of Commons that the question of battleclasps was ' being' investigated. He expressed the opinion that 10 named battleclasps ought to cover the war in France, and two or three for the other theatres. They had to deal with six or seven million medals. He could not undertake that medals should be kept back until the clasps were completed.
