OLYMPIC GAMES* TEAM.

G. DAVIDSON'S NON-INCLUSION. The non-inclusion of G. . Davidson, the Auckland and New Zealand - champion ■printer, in', the list .of athletes whom it is proposed to send to Antwerp to. compete in the Olympic games, ' was discussed by the Auckland Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club last evening.. Mr. A. W. Dormer presided. . Members expressed' surprise at tie treatment meted out to Davidson, .and were, of the opinion that in view of ' his recent improved form he had a greater claim than Lindsay to represent New Zealand. It was decided to forward the following resolution, through the Auckland centre, to the New Zealand Committee of th« Olympic Council: _" In view of the improved and -consistent form of G. Davidson during the season in eaualling the Australasian record at the New Zealand championship meeting, and repeating the performance recently ,in Auckland, .the 1 club is of opinion that ho should certainly have been included in-the team to compete in the Olympic games, and the club would like to know the reason why he has not been selected," .'"--.•. It is understood thai the Auckland centre* intends to have Davidson nominated, if pos» Bible, and to raise funds to send him to compete in the Olympic games. The club has decided to wind up the season with evening meetings at the Domain on April 13 and IS. Davidson, on Friday. April 8. KING'S COLLEGE SPORTS. The annual athletic sports "in connection with King's College will be held at the Domain on Thursday, April 8. The first evens will start at 10 a.m., and the old boys' races will be held at 4 pjn. The latter consist of.* 100 yds, for the Robertson Cup, and* the 60yds " old " old boys' race. SPORTS AT TE AROHA. A sports meeting will be held at Te Aroha pa-Easter Saturday and Monday. An excellent programme of running, cycling, chopping, boxing, piping, and dancing events has been arranged The sum 0f..£25 in prisemoney is offered in several handicap 'events. AUCKLAND CLUB'S MEETING^ The Auckland Motorcycle Club will hold its second' sports meeting at the Takapuna racecourse on' Saturday afternoon. An excellent programme, has been arranged, and with record entries in each event some exciting racing is promised. AH the prominent motor cyclists who took part at the last meeting will compete. .An attractive item will be the race between an aeroplane and a motorcycle. Accommodation has- been arranged for thousands of spectators, and patrons will be sure of obtaining a good view of the races. A band will be in attendance, and a special ferry service has been arranged.
