Traffic was stopped in the principal street. A state of siege has been proclaimed over the greater part of Germany. Railway communication with Holland is interrupted. Tho Vorwarts claims that the Government is in no way to blame for the bloodshed, and save the police did not fire on the crowd until 10 of their members had been carried away wounded.
