POULET'S MISFORTUNES.
ENCOUNTER WITH VULTURE.
PROPELLER BROKEN.
Reuter. PARIS. Dec. 18. According to advices from Burma, dated December 10, Poulet, the French airman who set out to fly from Paris to Melbourne, started from Moulmein for Bangkok, but was compelled to return because a vulture dashed into his machine and broke the right propeller. Poulet resumed the journey to Bangkok the next day.
The newspaper Intransigeant has opened a subscription for Poulet, who was not officially aided in his flight. The first list totals 5800 francs.
