A letter just received, dated Nof vembe? 4, 1919, gives particulars of a three days' motor-cycle race meeting at San Angelo, Texas, U.S.A., in which the , "INDIAN" won every event on the programme except fine. About the sane time Roy Astley, with a Powerpius " INDIAN" established a new record between San Francisco and San Angeles, a distance of 461 miles, Which ho covered in 9 hours and 25 minutes, breaking the motor-cycle record by 39 minutes and the Cadillac Motor-car record by 12 minutes. Then, at Harrisburg, Pa., the INDIAN is credited with a 100 per cent, win in Endurance Contest, held October 26. Two Indians entered, and these were the only machines to finish.
