«*: IMPROVEMENT PROPOSALS. [BY TELEGRAPH — CORRESPONDENT.] TAUBANGA. Monday. A the result of the ratepayers of the Maketu, Te Puna, and Katikati ridings authorising the County Council to borrow a \ 6um of £9900, the council has decided to call tenders for worker in various parts of the county. The loans carry a Government subsidy, and it is anticipated that considerable improvement will be effected to the main road as the necessary funds are available for permanent work.
