IMPROVED TRAIN SERVICES.

DETAILS OF NEW SCHEDULE. TRAVELLING TIME REDUCED. TWO MAIN TRUNK EXPRESSES ! SUNDAY SUBURBAN TRAINS. [BY TELEGRAPH OWN- COBHESrONDKKT.] WELLINGTON. Tuesday. A new railway tune-table, the details of which were announced by the General Manager to-day, will be 'brought into operation on Sunday, December 14. This time-table reverts in a great degree to the time-table that was in operation prior to the war with such amendments and improvements that have been found neces. sary. The present 7.10 p.m. train from Auckland to Wellington and the present 12.45 p.m. train from Wellington to Auckland will continue to run as at present. A second express train will leave Auckland for Wellington daily, except Sundays, at I p.m., arriving at Wellington at 6.45 &.m. the following morning. A second express train will leave Wellington for Auckland at 8.35 p.m. daily except Saturdays, arriving at Auckland at 2.55 p.m. the following, day. Kaipara Express Trains. An express train will leave Auckland at 8.25 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and Helensville at 10.17, arriving at Banganui at 12.40 p.m. This train will . stop at Newmarket, Mount Eden, Avondale, Henderson, Waitakere, Waimauku, Helensville, Kaukapakapa, Tahekeroa, Ahuroa, Kaipara Flats, Hoteo, and at all stations between Welisford and 'Ranganui. On Saturdays this train will run from Auckland to Helensville only. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays an express train will leave Ranganui at 12.20 p.m. and Helensville at 3 P-m., arriving at Auckland at 4.40 p.m. This Vain will make the same stops as the AucklandRanganui express. Thames and Rotorua Lines. Express trains will run between Auckland and Thames as follow?!:— Auckland, depart 9.15 a.m. ; Newmarket, 9.26 a.m. ; Frankton, arrive 12.30, depart 12.50 p.m.; Hamilton, 12.58 p.m.; Te Aroha, 2.40 p.m..; Thames, I arrive 4.50 p.m. Thames, depart 9.25 a.m. ; Te Aroha, 11.30 a.m.; Hamilton, 1.10 p.m.; Frankton, arrive 1.15, depart 1.40 p.m.; Auckland, arrive 4.57 p.m. The present Auckland-Rotorua express trains will run as follows :— Auckland, depart 10 a.m., Newmarket, 10.11 a.m. ; Frankton, arrive 1.4 p.m.. depart 1.25 p.m. ; Hamilton, depart 1.35 p.m.; Rotorua, arrive 5.30 p.m, Rotorua, depart 9 a.m.; Hamilton, 12.40 p.m. ; Frankton, arrive 12.45 p.m., depart 1.5 p.m.; Auckland, arrive 4.10 p.m. The present 1.10 p.m. goods train (with car attached) from Morrinsville to Frankton will leave Morrinsville at 2.10 p.m. The present 3.40 p.m. train Rotorua to Frankton, will leave Rotorua at 3.45 p.m. arriving at Frankton at 9 p.m. A new train will leave Waihi Tor Raeroa at 6.55 a.m. daily, returning from' Paeroa . at 8.7 a.m. for Waihi. This train will connect at Paeroa with the morning train from Te Aroha to Thames. Auckland-Helensville.

The present 7.20 a.m. train Auckland to Helensville will leave Auckland at 7 a.m. The 3.15 p.m. train will leave Auckland at 4.5 p.m. and stop at Newmarket, Mount Eden, Avondale, Henderson, and., at- all stations north thereof, arriving at Helensville at 6.30 p.m. | . The present 6.50 a.m. train Helensville ito Auckland will leave Helensville at 7 ■ a.m. and after Reaving Henderson will stop only at Avondale, Mount Eden, and Newmarket. The Henderson Service.The times of the suburban trains between Auckland and Henderson' have been, reduced. New trains are to leave Henderson for Auckland as follows:8.40 a.m. daily, 3.10 p.m. daily, 8.52 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and9.4op,m. Wednesdays and Saturdays. The present 5 p.m. train will leave Henderson at ; 4.43 p.m. and arrive at Auckland at 5.43 p.m. New trains will leave Auckland for Henderson at 3.42 p.m. and 9.30 p.m. daily. The present 10.15 p.m. daily train Auckland to Henderson will leave at 10.15 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and at 11 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The 11 p-m. train on Saturdays will run to Swanson. The present 5.10 p.m. train Newmarket to New Lynn will leave Newmarket at 5.8 p.m. and run to Henderson. A new train will leave Mount Eden for* Henderson on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 6.3 p.m... * A train will leave Swanson for 'Auckland at 12.42 p.m. on Mondays. The present • 10.10 a.m. train has been dropped, and in place of it trans will leave Papakura for Auckland at 9.20 a.m. and 10.53 a.m. New trains will leave Papakura for Mercer at 2.25 p.m., after the arrival of the 1.13 p.m. train from Auckland and at 6.25 p.m., after the arrival of the 5.17 p.m. train from Auckland. . The 6 40 a.m. train Mercer to Auckland will not stop at Ellerslie, Green Lane or s Remuera, and will arrive at Auckland at 855 am. The present 9.45 a.m. tram F-ankton to Auckland will not stop after leaving Papakura, except a* Penrose and Newmarket. This train will arrive at Auckland at 2.20 p.m. Sunday Trains Restored. Trains will run on Sundays as follows.— Auckland to Swanson, 9.30 a.m. and 15 p.m. To Henderson, 9.30 a.m., 2.15 i m., and 8.30 p.m. To Onehunga, 10.45 ' a.m., 2.30 p.m., 6,40 p.m., and 9 pm.
