FIRE AT WAIHI.
TAILOR'S SHOP DAMAGED. [BY TELEGEAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WAIHI. Tuesday. Shortly after seven o'clock this evening a fire broke out in the premises of Mr. Clem Burt, tailor and outfitter, in the main street. Considerable damage was done to the stock by fire and water, and the building was to some extent damaged.
The fire brigade did good work. The insurances are with the Norwich Union and London and Lancashire Offices.
