COALITION VICTORY. (Received 12.5 a.m.) Renter. LONDON, Nov. 28. The by-election for the Thanet seat resulted in the return of the Coalition Unionist candidate. The polling was as follows : — Hon. E. Harmsworth (Coal. Unionist 9711 Mr. West (Liberal) 7058 Coalition majority ... 2653 At the general election in December, 1918, the Tate member, Lieutenant-Com-mander Norman Craig. Coalition Unionist, was returned unopposed.
