ATTEMPTED SUICIDE.
[BY TELEGRAPH—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON. Tuesday A charge of attempting to commit suicide at Matangi on November 13 was admitted by Sydney Cox in the Police Court before Mr. H. A. Young, S.M., to-day. Senior-Sergeant Till said the defendant had been on a drinking bout, and-after applying for work at Matangi was found in the evening with his throat cut. Defendant was ordered to come up for sentence if called upon.
