EXPULSION OF GERMANS. LETTS RECAPTURE MITAU. VALUABLE BOOTY TAKEN. By Telegraph—Press Association—Couyricht (Received 10.30 p.m.) , B<-uter. COPENHAGEN. Nov. 24. J _ The Letts captured Mitau after 1 six hours' desperate fighting. The ' capture of the town was effected . from the north-west. The booty obtained was very large. Fighting continues to the south-east of the J captured town. General Bermondt's beaten troops have been obliged to retreat to the south-east from Mitau-; to the Lithuanian frontier, instead I of directly to Germany. I The retreat of the Germans on Libau front is proceeding towards the Lithuanian and German frontiers. i The advance of the Letts has been aided by a large amount of captured German ammunition.
