METROPOLITAN SHOW.
OPENING DAY TO-MORROW. LARGE ENTRIES IN ALL SECTIONS. The annual show of the Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Association will be held at the Campbell Show Grounds, Epsom, to-morrow and on Saturday. This will be the 'first show held since 1917, last year's fixture having been abandoned, owing Ito the influenza epidemic. This year's exhiI bition promises to be one of the most ! successful yet held by the association. The 1 exhibitors include a large number who j have not previously taken part in the i association's shows,- and the total number of entries in all sections shows a considerable increase, as compared with previous years. The stock classes have been well 'filled, the cattle section being a very strong one, particularly in Jerseys, whilst Shorthorns also show a marked improvement. The ring events also have drawn good entries, and the programme for- " Peoples' Day" on Saturday should prove an attractive one. Trade exhibits, and side-shows, as usual, . will be a prominent feature of the exhibition.
