•" REPORT BY COMMISSIONER. [by TELEGRAPH CORRESPONDENT.! ! WAIHI. Wednesday. The Waihi Borough Council has received a copy of the report of the commissioner, Mr.' H. A. Young, S.M., who was appointed to inquire into the council's application for an area of land at the Waihi beach for camping and recreation purposes The commissioner recommends the acquisition of 69 acres starting from the creek in Mr. G. Vesey Stewart's property, taking eight acres of his land, and continuing theme along Mrs. G. Shaw's property, including the homestead and a portion now being cut up for sale. The area known as Waikino town is included; also all land on Mrs. Shaw's farm on which wh«U'es have ueen erected.
