At Randwick to-day the gallops took place on the course proper in fine weather. The going -was good. Biplane did a mile nicely in 1.48. Wolaroi, on the tan, ran seven furlongs in 1.811. Poitrel nine furlongs in 2.05, the list mile in 1.46. Gloaming nine furlongs in 1.574. Afterglow and Bossini a mile in 1.46. At Victoria Park Surveyor beat Lansell and Carbern over 10 furlongs in 2.13, and Sasanof beat Spanner over the same distance in 2.12. Delight smartly covered four furlongs in 495. DERBY FAVOURITE SCRATCHED. A. and NSZ. SYDNEY, Sept. 27. Biearoon, who had ruled favourite for the A.J.C. Derby for some lime, has gone amiss, ! and, as a consequence, has been scratched
