MEN'S COMPLAINTS REMEDIED

TAUMAKUNTXI, Friday. For some time past the man -working on the Okahukura Tunnol have not beer. satisfied -with the conditions of work, and recently they made the request that the foreman should be removed.
.The protest was considered by the officials of the Public Works Department, with tha malt that work was offered to the men on a co-operative basis, under winch they could appoint their own foreman. Thess terms were agreed to, and the man appointed foreman was one who had previously been a "shift boss," and who was very popular with the men.
