PUKEKOHE FLOWER SHOW.
FINE DISPLAY OF DAFFODILS. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] ptTKEKOHE, Friday. The sixth annual bulb and spring flower show under the auspices of St. James' Presbyterian Church was held in the Premier Hall, Pukekohe, yesterday and to-day. The various classes attracted large entries, particularly the daffodil section. A large number of exhibitors were from outside districts'. Among the chief exhibitors in this class were :-—Messrs. H. J. Bull, Newmarket; J. Allen, Panmure; H. Marriner, Auckland.; and J. H. Braithwaite, of Huntly. Mr. H. Brett, the wellknown Auckland grower, had on exhibition only a magnificent display of daffodils of all varieties, carnations, anemones, hyacinths, and candytufts, the exhibits, on the whole, attracting considerable attention. Mr. J. Allen, of Panmtire, besides competing in the various classes, also had a fine collection of daffodils on exhibition. Taking everything into consideration, the show was as successful as any of its kind yet held here.
