A NOTABLE EVENT.
Admiral Viscount Jellicoe comes to New Zealand with a glorious achievement to his credit and the record of victory in the log-book of the battlecruiser on which he sails. It is therefore fitting that our welcome should in some way show our appreciation of the great service given, by the admiral, his officers and men. The elaborate souvenir which has been written by Mr. H. Hector Bolitho is the most suitable gift by which you can cause the. visitors to remember their stay in Auckland. Its 40 pases include biographies of the admiral and his officers, a history of the H.M.S. New Zealand, some thirty illustrations, and many other features of interest at the present time. Messrs Whitcombe and Tombs, Ltd.. who printed and published this grand souvenir, can supply copies at 2s, or 2s 3d posted. Their " Jellicoe " window is attracting great attention at the present time. In it are displayed copies of the souvenir, and the specially printed 'Jellicoe Writing Pad. Is 3d, and the Jellicoe Ribbons and the Buttons.
