SEA ON COAST MODERATES.
MANUKAU BAR NEGOTIABLE.
The sea on the West Coast, which has been very heavy for the last two days, moderated yesterday. The signal station at the Manukau Heads reported last tight that the wind veered from the west "to the south-west in the morning and the sea moderated at once. ,The Regudus, which had beer, bar-bound at Onehunga for two davs, crossed outwards on her way to Nelson at 1 p.m.. and it was stated that the Rarawa would have no difficulty in crossing this afternoon.
The following weather forecast was issued by Mr. Clement L. Wragge yesterday afternoon:—Generally fair to fine weather is likely over the Auckland province, with winds from between southwest and south. There are indications that the barometer will fall before long for a change; unsettled in the South. Sea moderate.
