The purchase of Mr. H. H. Seabrook's s-hirt and denim factory, in Grafton Road, was completed this week by Archibald Clark and Sons, Limited. The purchasers will take over the factory in December as a going concern. Consequent upon the new purchase the company will make a general rearrangement of its factories. The clothin factory in Exmouth Street will be closed, and Mr. Seabrook's factory, in Grafton Road will be used as a clothing, shirt, and denim factory. The congestion in the mam factory in Williamson's Avenue, Urey Lynn, has been relieved to a considerable extent by the purchase a few months ago of Messrs. Morran, Lonsdale and Company's clothing factory, in England Street, where women's coats and costumes are being made. The main .factory is being used solely for the manufacture of rthirts, blouses, dresses, and underclothing.
