DELAY TO TRANSPORT.
QUESTION IN THE HOUSE, X. [BY TELEGRAPH.—SPECIAL REPORTER.]
WELLINGTON. Thursday. The delay in the arrival of the troop, ship Cordova wag referred to in the House of Representatives this afternoon,, when Mr. R. Semple (Wellington South) asked the Minister for Defence whether he could give the reason for the delay and state when the vessel would arrive.
Sir James Allen said the naval adviser had received word to eay that the Cordova had arrived at Fremantle on September 15, and would arrive at Wellington about September 30. ° He stated further that the Corinthis would arrive on September 23.
