ELLERSLIE TOWN BOARD.
The Ellerslie Town Board met on Tuesday evening. Present : The chairman. Mr. S. Somei-field, and Messrs. A. Ferguson. ■T. A. Godfrey. A. Hewson. D. A. Moore. G. Thorpe and J. Wooller. The chairman reported on the. conference of local bodies with the Mount Eden Borough Council in regard to suburban local bodies being supplied with power for electricity from the Horahora supplv. rt was resolved to defer the matter for further particulars. Strong complaint? were made to the. board in 'respect to cattle being allowed to wander on the roads, doing considerable damage to footpaths and hedges, besides being dangerous to pedestrians. It. was decided that the. offenders he notified tha'. he practice must cease or the board would :ake action.
