FIREBALL STRIKES CHURCH.

A fireball struck the Congregational Union buiding at Surry Hills, Sydney, durin;; a recent storm. There was an explosion. A hole was torn in the slate roof about six feet by four feet, and the woodwork caught fire. The ball forced its way under the slatee and splintered some timber supports, while the electric bght switches were destroyed. Debris fell into the church, and water poured in through the gaping hole in the roof.
