BAPTIST ANNIVERSARY.

FAREWELL TO PASTOR. Services in connection with the sixtyfourth anniversary of the Baptist Tabernacle will be held at the church tomorrow. A special personal interest attaches to the day, it being the last occasion upon • which the pastor, Rev. H. Knowles Kempton, will preach before I going to Dunedin to take the pastorate of I the Hanover Street Baptist Church, latelyvacated by Rev. R. S. Gray. At the Tabernacle to-morrow, the pupils of the ' Sunday-school will join with the morning congregation, and at the evening service Mendelssohn's " Hear My Prayer," will be rendered, with Miss- B. George as soloist. Mr. A. 'E. Wilson, the church , organist and choirmaster, will give a brief j organ recital from 6.45 p.m. I The public farewell - to be tendered- to !
