PLOT TO FORM A REPUBLIC. SAD EFFECTS MAY FOLLOW. Ky Telegraph— Association—Copyright. (Roceiwxl 6.£ p.m.) CniW Service. LONDON. Aug. 7. The Swede arrested in connection with the Bolshevik plot is one Zacrarassen, who is charged that he delivered a sealed packet to a female extremist, who denies compi :city. The Swede's confession implicates a certain extiemist organisation ■? ith which the female was connected. The police seized at Plais-t-nw plans for the formation of an English soviet republic, the documents affirming that arms and bombs were secreted at certain epots at Plaistow.
Responsible British labour leaders arc not implicated in the plot, but i here is a danger that they may unwittingly become tools. Although it is believed that the plot has been overthrown, its effect is expected to be felt in many quarters of Britain in the near future.
