DEMAND FOR TELEPHONES.
POSITION AT MORRINSVILLE. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] MORRINSVILLE, Friday. The further' extension of the Morrinsville telephone service is retarded owing to the fact that all the cable boxes are Slled. There are now 365 connections in the Morrinsville service. Over 100 applications for connections are in hand waiting for the necessary work to be done to enable further lines to be laid. Machines are now available in fair numbers.
