WANGSNUI, Friday.
Education matters were discussed at a meeting of teachers, school committees, and householders to-night. The speakers included Mr. W. A. Veitch, MP. It was unanimously resolved that "This meeting urges the Government to increase the education vote to at least £6,000,000, in order to make possible comprehensive reforme, and so bring the New Zealand system into line with modern conditions."
