INCREASE IN FARES.
TWOPENNY MINIMUM RATE. [BT TELEGRAPH.—TRESS association.] WELLINGTON, Friday.
Consequent upon increased wages recently granted, and the increased cost of material, the finances of the city tramways for some time have been in an unsatisfactory condition, and the City Council, being faced with a deficit, has decided'to institute a hew scale of fares the principal change being a twopenny mini- | mum fare. i [BT TEtEOBAPH.—OVRT COSKESPOSDENT.] WELLINGTON, Friday.
