TAURANGA BANKRUPTCY.
APPLICATION FOR DISCHARGE.
A discbarge from bankruptcy was applied for by James Bentley Kemp, etore-ke-sper, of Tauranga (Mr. Herman), in the Supreme Court, yesterday, before Mr. Justice Cooper. The official assignee, Mr W. S. Fisher, said he did not oppose the application. The bankruptcy was a bad od6, but, it was principally the conduct of the bankrupt's partner to which the creditors took exception. Hie Honor eaid he could not grant an immediate discharge, because the bankrupt had been convicted of a br3ach of the penal clauses of the Bankruptcy Act. A discharge to take .effect, at the expiry of three months would be granted.
