Notice is hereby given that in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by Section 124 of " The Counties Act. 1908." the, Manulcau County Council, at a Special Meeting held on the 20th day of June. 1919 resolved by way of Special Order as follows:— The Council hereby delegates to the Papatoetoe Town. Board the powers conferred ?£?o n „ tho s _P ouncil under "The Counties Act. 1908, and its Amendments. "The Rating Act 1908, and its. Amendments. " The Hospital and Charitable Institutions* Act, 1909 " and its Amendments, and by all other Acts and powers thereunto enabling it in that behalf of making and levying the following Rates ircthra the Papatoetoe Town District for the year commencing on the Ist day of April 1919 and ending on the 31st day of March. 1920' namely :— (a) A General Rate of Five-eighths (id) of * Penny in the Pound on the Capital value of all the Ratable Properties in the oaid Town District. '*>) A Hospital and Charitable Aid Bate of One-fifth (l-Sd) of a Penny iu the Pound on the Opital Value of all the table Properties in the said Town District, Such Rates to be payable on such date and at such time as may be decided upon by the said Town Board, subject to the conditions or stipulations as to the payment of the expense of making and levying such Hates, and also as to the expenditure of the moneys received from such Rates as are referred to in such Special Order. The said Resolution will be submitted for confirmation at a Special Meetinc oi the Manuka.u County Council, to be held at the Office of the Council.
