FIRST MATCH ARRANGED.

LONDON. May 22.

The first round of tho Davis Cup matches, Britain versus South Africa, has been provisionally arranged for July 25, 26, and 28, at Eastbourne. All English and overseas tennis circles are grateful to tho Australian authorities for their sporting action as regards the redraw.

All the Australian tennis players, under the popular captaincy of Doust, are getting splendid press notices, and aro equally great favourites at all the centres visited. Tributes are paid to their sportsmanship on and off the courts.
