THE RUGBY GAME.
TODAY'S SENIOR MATCHES. The chief/Rugby attractions for to-day will ho College Rifles v, Ponsonby, Marist Brothers v. University, and Newton v. Grammar 0.8. all to be played at Eden.Park. Parnoll will play Grafton at the Show Ground. FRANKLIN UNION. The second lound of the Franklin Rugby Union's championships will be commencod to-day. Tne conclusion of tho first round saw both Pukckoho seniors and juniors at tho head oi the premiership ladder without a defeat in tho round, The Waiuku teams are running a close second, with a single- defeat each. The chief match to-day will bo Pukckohc v, Waiuku seniors, which will take place at Waiuku, and will be controlled by Mr. E. Donovan, of Auckland .
UNDER LEAGUE RULES. MATCHES FOR TO-DAY. The chief League match to be played today will bo City v. Ponsonby. at victoria Park. Maritime will play Newton on Victoria Park, and Nprth Shore will meet Grafton on the Domain.
POST AND TELEGRAPH CLUB. Tho Post arid Telegraph Football Club will hold a meeting in the Loaguo Rooms this evening-
