WHEATGROWERS' INTERESTS.
POSITION IN CANTERBURY. [BY TELBGBAPH.-rOWN. CORRESPONDENT.] CHTUSTCHITRCH, Friday.
There is Rtill some d'spatipf'-ction among wheatirrowers, and complaints a r e made that they are being offered leFs than the full Government price for milling Tuscan wheat, and that those growers who required the money were compelled to accept the lower price. This only emphasises the fact that a mistake was made in fixing. one price for all varieties of wheat. The question of storage and obtaining advances on wheat not sold is to be brought before the Wheat Controller by a deputation from the North Canterbury executive of the Farmers' Union, probably next week.
