I ; Dainty and useful itrir.ket sets can be i made for the dressing-table from old tins, and for the trays to hold brush and comb, hairpins, and so forth, the tops of tin j boxes answer beautifully. I Thoroughly wash each tin with hot water and soda, then dry, and rub them . well over with sandpaper. I Some good enamel will now be needed, j and it should be the kind that will have a ; shiny gloss on it when dry. Hie colour i should be a creamy white. Give on? coat , to each tin. and if .necessary another when the first i 6 quite dry and hard. I For decoration either paint or stencil a i little rose design, and round the edges of 'the tins make short lines of green or ; black paint at even intervals.
