FRENCH GIRL'S EXPERIENCES. A girl to whom the war brought thrilling experiences is the French bride of a : New Zealand soldier, who arrived by the I ' lonic yesterday. At the outbreak of tho 1 war the French headquarters staff was stationed in her village, near Fleurbaix, but very soon came the Germans, 500 of whom were billeted there after tho i French had been driven out. Fleurbaix ! was recaptured by the Germans in 1918 in their great advance, and again driven I from it when the Allies commenced the j great counter-thrust that ended in victory.
