PARISHIONERS' MEETINGS.
of. LUKE'S CHURCH, MT. ALBERT.
The parishioners of St. Luke's Church, Mount Albert, held their annual meeting last evening, the Rev. A. J. Greenwood presiding. The resignation of Mr. G. A. j Coles from the Diocesan Synod was ac- ! cepted with regret. A presentation was made to Mr. E. Ward by members of the choir. The balance-sheet showed that the general offertory for the year amounted to £181, an increase of on the preceding year. The parish had raised £120 for church huts for the armies, and had contributed £60 to the central fm,d. Genera! donations amounted to £44 10s. U was decided to erect a new altar and to obtain new voxels, as a memorial to fallen soldiers. All the vestry were.reelected with the addition of Mr. F. Wintone. Musical items were given during the evening.
