DESTRUCTIVE FIRE.

OUTBREAK AT WESTPORT.

BUSINESS BLOCK BURNED. [BY telegraph,— press ASSOCIATION'.] WESTPOBT, Saturday. A destructive fire occurred at Westport at an early hour this morning, resulting in the total destruction of the following premises Hallenstein's clothing factory. Mr. Penny's Palace Restaurant. The following businesses sustained severe damage — Mr. Nottle's shop, the stock in which was ruined. Mr. Rose, photographer. Mr. Lawson's shoe shop, which is protected by a brick wall, stayed the progress of the flames. In this building, however, the stock and window were somewhat damaged. Details of insurances so far available are as follows: Mr. Lawson, £2000 on premises and £350 on stock; Mr. Not;,le, £350 on stock. Mr. Penny had a narrow escape from death.
