COTTAGE HOSPITAL PROPOSED RACECOURSE IMPROVEMENTS [BY TELEGRAPH.— COEEESPOHDKNT.] TE ABOHA. Friday. Hie Piako County Catmcfl has notified the Borough Council that it u in favour of the erection of a oottage hospital at Te Aroha under the control of the Waikato or Thames Hospital Boards, but that it cannot agree to support a proposal for the establishment of a new hospital district at Te Aroha. A scheme for improvements to the course and buildings is oeing prepared by tha committee of the Te Aroha Jockey Club. It is proposed to make a new roadway from Stanley Road to reduce the distance from the town. Thirteen new members were elected at the last meeting of the committee. Over £1200 was received from the last annual race meeting. Settlers at Wardville, who occupy about 10,000 acres of the Manawaru riding of the Piako County, are seeking a transfer to tie Matamata County,
