TROTZKY'S RESERVE FORCE. A. and N.Z. PAWS. Mar. 31. It is understood that the Peace Conference has been informed that Trotzky has 500,000 well-trained troops ready for the invasion of western Europe. Mr. George Lansb :ry, editor of the Labour Herald, asserts that the Allies have decided upon an understanding with the Bolsheviks on the basis that the latter shall confine their activities to their present territory, and that the Allies shall withdraw their forces from Russia.

Mr. Cecil Harmsworth, UnderSecretary to the Foreign Office, states that the Russian Bolshevik leaders have been informed that they will be held personally responsible for the safety of British prisoners.
