(K«d. 5.10 p.m.) LONDON. Mar. 31. * It is reported from Berlin that the Government adheres to its refusal to permit a landing of the Polish Legion at Danzig. The Allies emphasise that they do not wish to occupy Danzig, but merely demand the right of a passage through the portHen Erzberger,' the leader of the German armistice delegation, is on his way to the allied headquarters at Spa to discuss with Marshal Foch ' the military aspects of the Danzig problem ; the Allies having demanded that the landing of General Heller's Polish troops there be facilitated. A reply to the allied demands is required within 48 hours. INSISTENCE ON LANDING. FORCE IF NECESSARY. (BaceiwJ 9.5 era.) Utiled S«nioe. PAWS, Mar. 31. The Supreme War Council has instructed Marshal Foch to prepare for the landing of the Polish troops' at Danzig by force if necessary. Meanwhile a most resolute demand is being presented to Germany.
